How many of you have heard of Ladybird Likes?
I hope you all raised your hands.
Or immediately clicked through to see the gorgeousness on offer in the shop.
I’m in a pretty good mood. I had a wonderful birthday with great gifts, food and friends. And it’s about to be a bank holiday in the UK.
I want to share the happy feelings around with a giveaway.
Ladybird Likes was set up by Zoe in 2012 but her business is already booming. She stocks charming brooches, necklaces, collar clips and even bow ties that she has handmade from wood, vintage fabric and pretty paper!
Zoe has an etsy shop, attends big craft fairs like Renegade Craft Fair, and Crafty Fox Market, and has been featured in Mollie Makes, Wedding Magazine, Handmade Living, Cross Stitcher, and Make Jewellery, as well as on several blogs you might know (I found out about LL and Zoe through The Dainty Squid, but her pieces have also been featured on Skunkboy Creatures, Little Chief Honeybee, and What Olivia Did).
I love that the company’s message is “making nice things for nice people”. I think the creative community is a wonderful place where like-minded people can support each other and I have honestly met some amazingly nice folk through blogging and sewing.
With this in mind, the giveaway I’m hosting is for a Ladybird Likes brooch of your choosing!
I love the Vintage Lady brooches and the Pin up Girl brooches (see above and below for my personal favourites).
But if they aren’t your style, there are robots, butterflies and birds to pick from too!
To enter, visit the shop then come back and leave a comment on this post telling me which brooch you’d like to win.
This giveaway is open internationally. Entries must be received before Wed 28th August, Midnight GMT. A winner will be chosen at random shortly after the giveaway closes and where possible directly contacted to inform them of the win.
Wow! As and avid Etsy user I’m ashamed to say I’ve never come across Ladybird Likes before – her items are stunning.
I love her butterfly brooches all of them!
gorgeous. am sure i have seen the vintage ladies before but couldn’t have said where! i love the blue and purple butterfly necklace and the vintage lady brooch with the lovely red dress!
So I will admit that I own a vintage fashion lady brooch and I love it. Its gorgeous. But those pin up girls are fab – how did I not see those before? I love the one wearing yellow shorts and a red tshirt, she kinda reminds me of Marilyn Monroe in her Norma Jean days.
Ooh, thank you for spreading the happiness! It is so hard to choose a favourite; if there was a pug brooch that would win hands down but the 3 of spades, anchors bow, paper plane and the red dress lady are all favourites. Fingers crossed!
I love the miniature butterfly necklaces and the butterfly brooches. They are just so damn handsome.
My favourite (and the one I’d LOVE to win!!) is this one: http://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/128309176/butterfly-wooden-brooch?ref=shop_home_active
Am I allowed to come back and say I can’t choose?! So many lovely brooches. I am currently wavering between the butterflies and the pin ups. Love the Marilyn sort of one that another commenter mentioned. Basically, all of them.
Becky
Ooh, thanks for a lovely giveaway ! I’d love one of the butterfly brooches, they are all gorgeous.
Yep. I need one of those!!! Congrats on your domain name. Big girl now 🙂
It’s all so pretty!! I love all the butterfly brooches.
Great giveaway! x
What a great give-away! I haven’t shopped on Etsy yet, but I will make sure I change that after having seen Ladybirds brooches. I love the Vintage Lady brooches. I am wearing a dress made from vintage ladies fabric today – so both would go perfectly together 🙂
I love the bird brooches – all of them!!
I had my hand up as I received a butterfly necklace for my birthday! To add to it I’d really like to win the bluebird broach. Thanks and good luck everyone!
Great giveaway and post! Ladybird Likes have some amazing jewellery. I love the Cardinal bird brooch! x
Wow – so much gorgeousness in her shop! I ADORE all the butterfly ones but especially the brooches. The Robot would be cool for my denim jacket though – tough to pick just one favourite!
I would love one of the butterfly brooches…. or one of the birds….. hmmmm!
What a great site! I hadn’t come across it before. I love all of the items there but the butterfly ones are my favourites! It would be a tough choice.
They are all lovely brooches – I confess I am partial to the pinup girls and vintage ladies, although those butterfly’s are beautiful as well! ~Laurie
Ooooh, I’d love the chance to win please! All the brooches are adorable, so I’d have to narrow the choice down, but it would be between a vintage lady, a pin-up/card lady or a birdie! Thanks!
I’ve already got one of the sewing pattern brooches, and would I be greedy to want another? I also noticed them being sold in a shop in Bath and was really happy to see how business is developing. Hurrah!!
Oooh, I really like the necklaces in her shop 🙂 I think my favourite brooch would be the green butterfly.
Sucha great website – thanks for brining it to us. I love all the vintage pattern ladies!
I love the vintage ladies brooches especially the skinny ones in either yellow or red mostly because I shall never be thin and I’d never dare wear red or yellow but I could get away with a brooch that colour!
I love these brooches, I spent a lot of time admiring them at a craft fair last year. My favourite of all is this pin-up lady: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/103035478/pin-up-girl-wooden-brooch?ref=shop_home_active
Loving the red retro robot everyone should have a bit of geek in them
Love ladybirdlikes, I bought a sewing machine necklace at a Christmas fair in London last year. lovely stuff. If I may put my hand up, I like this yellow dress fashion lady. (in fact I think I’d like to make a dress just like it in another colour but that’s another story) Thanks for hosting x

I came across these brooches a while ago, I think it was on Handmade Jane’s blog, but I had forgotten about them, so thanks for the reminder! I would love to win the brooch of the lady in the red polka dot dress. Thank you for the chance of winning! 🙂
Great website! I love the lady in the red and white polka dot dress on the second page.
